Epsilon Tracts 1–10

  1. Epsilon Tract 1: Mount Chiliad On the wooden observation deck at the Mount Chiliad summit, by the cable car station.
  2. Epsilon Tract 2: Pacific Ocean On the seabed off Palomino Highlands, beside a sunken paddle steamer; dive from a Dinghy.
  3. Epsilon Tract 3: Pacific Ocean On top of the northernmost island north of Paleto Bay; take a boat out and climb.
  4. Epsilon Tract 4: Mount Chiliad In a doorway marked T-02 near the middle of the road tunnel through Mount Chiliad.
  5. Epsilon Tract 5: Little Seoul At the foot of the old church in north Little Seoul, near its northeast entrance.
  6. Epsilon Tract 6: Paleto Cove On the low platform down the steps at the end of the Sonar Collections Dock pier.
  7. Epsilon Tract 7: Richman On the stairway at the end of the driveway to the red, castle-like mansion.
  8. Epsilon Tract 8: Mount Chiliad At a tall tree just downhill and northwest of the deck where tract 1 was.
  9. Epsilon Tract 9: Pillbox Hill In the middle of the rooftop helipad on the Maze Bank Tower; bring a helicopter.
  10. Epsilon Tract 10: Pacific Bluffs On the small island in the cemetery pond, next to the tomb.

How the Epsilon Tract hunt works

The tracts are a Story Mode collectible for Michael, and they only turn up once the Epsilon Program missions are done. Marnie sends him a riddle clue for each one, and the full set unlocks the complete Epsilon Tract text.

Only one tract exists at a time. Marnie's clues are riddles, and each time Michael collects the current tract, she sends the clue for the next one. The order is fixed, so you cannot skip ahead or pick them up out of turn.

That is why the numbers on this page follow the game's own order: tract 1 is the first clue Marnie sends and tract 10 is the last. If a tract is not where its hint says, check that you have collected every one before it. If another list numbers them differently, go by the place, not the number.

Tracts 1 and 8 are both on the summit of Mount Chiliad, a short walk apart, and the cable car takes you up, but tract 8 only appears after you have found 1 to 7. Tract 4 is easy to drive past in the Chiliad tunnel, so stop near the middle and look for the door. Tract 2 is about 20 m down on the seabed, and diving from a Dinghy makes it easy. Tract 9 on the Maze Bank Tower roof is easiest to reach by helicopter.

When the tracts unlock and what you get

The hunt opens after Unknowing the Truth, the 8th and final Epsilon mission. After it, Marnie messages Michael with the first clue, whether he stays loyal or takes the money. It is Michael's hunt, and Marnie sends every clue to him.

The tracts do not count toward 100% completion, they pay no money, and there is no achievement for them (Kifflom! comes from Unknowing the Truth itself). Collecting the 10th tract brings a congratulations email from Marnie.

Epsilon Tracts FAQ

Why is my Epsilon Tract not appearing?

The tracts only exist after Unknowing the Truth, and only one is there at a time. You have to collect them in a fixed order, so the next tract appears only after you pick up the current one and Marnie sends the next clue.

What is the reward for collecting all the Epsilon Tracts?

The complete Epsilon Tract text. Marnie emails Michael her congratulations with a link to the full tract on the Epsilon website. There is no money for the set.

Where is Marnie's Epsilon Tract email?

Marnie sends it to Michael once he collects the 10th tract. It congratulates him and carries the link to the complete tract on the Epsilon website.

Is there an achievement for the Epsilon Tracts?

No. The Kifflom! achievement comes from finishing Unknowing the Truth, the final Epsilon mission, before the tracts even appear.

Do the Epsilon Tracts count toward 100% completion?

No. Collecting all 10 Epsilon Tracts is not needed for 100% completion.
