GTA Online Weekly Update FAQ
When does the GTA Online weekly update reset?
Every Thursday at 10:00 UTC, which is 6:00 AM Eastern and 3:00 AM Pacific during US daylight saving time (5:00 AM and 2:00 AM in winter). The bonuses, discounts, Podium car, and Prize Ride all change at that moment. Special events keep their own dates and can run past the reset.
What does double money (2X GTA$ & RP) mean?
It means an activity pays twice the usual GTA$ and RP all week; 3X means triple. A bonus listed as 2X GTA$ or 2X RP boosts only that reward. Rockstar picks new boosted activities every Thursday, so the boosted modes are the fastest way to earn until the reset.
How do weekly vehicle discounts work?
Every Thursday Rockstar puts a new set of vehicles on sale for one week, shown as a percentage off the normal price. The line-up changes every week, and GTA+ members sometimes get extra members-only prices. The full vehicle discount list shows every car on sale now, and each one links to its own page.
How do you win the Podium Vehicle?
Spin the Lucky Wheel in the Diamond Casino & Resort lobby; each spin has a 1-in-20 chance to land on the car. You get one free spin every 24 hours, counted from your last spin, and a one-time GTA$500 casino membership is required. GTA+ members get a second daily spin. The car changes every Thursday.

A roaming weapons dealer that parks at a different spot on the map each day and sells weapons, throwables, and armor at 10% below list price (20% for GTA+ members), with featured deals cutting some prices further.
