Fastest motorcycles in GTA Online, ranked by top speed

This ranking covers two-wheeled motorcycles and scooters. Trikes (Chimera, Rampant Rocket, Stryder), quads and bicycles are out. Weaponized bikes are fast, but they get their own section rather than a spot in this list. The Police Bike is in, even though the game classes it as an emergency vehicle.

Two fast bikes are missing on purpose: the Ruffian (127 mph) and the Rat Bike (123.5 mph) are no longer sold, so you cannot currently buy either one. For the complete live list, slower bikes included, see the motorcycle table on our fastest vehicles page.

Why tested numbers and not the game's own stats? The game-file top speed is not the speed a bike actually reaches. The Police Bike's file says 135 mph; tested, it does 156.75 mph.

Western Reever: the fastest bike, with a catch

The Reever arrived in February 2022 as part of The Contract update and costs GTA$ 1,900,000 at Legendary Motorsport. Its 163 mph is the highest tested top speed of any motorcycle, weaponized ones included.

Here is what most rankings skip: that number comes from holding a long wheelie. A quirk of the bike lets it keep the back wheel planted in a wheelie at very high speed, and that is how it reaches 163 mph. Ridden normally, it is much slower.

The lap time tells the same story. At 0:59.459, the Reever ranks only eighth among non-weaponized motorcycles on lap time without HSW. Buy it if you want the biggest number on the speedometer and you are happy to ride the wheelie. If you want to win races, read the racing section first.

Police Bike: the fastest bike most lists miss

The Western Motorcycle Company Police Bike is the second-fastest motorcycle in GTA Online without HSW, at 156.75 mph with a 1:02.497 lap. Most bike rankings leave it out because the game files it in the Emergency class instead of with the other motorcycles.

It has only been on sale since the Money Fronts update on June 17, 2025; before that, players could not buy it at all. It costs GTA$ 4,960,000 at Warstock Cache & Carry, with a trade price of GTA$ 3,720,000. Buying it also unlocks the Summer Highway Patrol outfit, and you can use the bike to start Dispatch Work.

That makes it the most expensive bike in the top-speed ranking by a long way. If speed is all you want, the Reever is faster for less money; the Police Bike makes the most sense if you also want the outfit and the Dispatch Work connection.

Fastest dirt bike: Manchez Scout

The Maibatsu Manchez Scout is the fastest dirt bike, at 139.75 mph with a 1:06.968 lap. It is also cheap: GTA$ 225,000 at Warstock Cache & Carry, or GTA$ 168,750 once you unlock the trade price by completing a bonus objective in the Assault on Cayo Perico Adversary Mode.

Its sibling, the Manchez Scout C, tests at 137.75 mph with a 1:06.133 lap. You cannot buy it on its own: it is the delivery bike that comes free with the Acid Lab, bundled with the Brickade 6x6.

Best motorcycle for racing: lap time beats top speed

If you race, look at lap time, not top speed. Ranked by lap, the order changes completely. Without HSW, the Western Powersurge posts the best lap of any non-weaponized bike, 0:55.371, while sitting ninth on top speed.

The Powersurge costs GTA$ 1,605,000 at Legendary Motorsport. The Hakuchou Drag (GTA$ 976,000) and the Shotaro (GTA$ 2,225,000) follow it, and the Bati 801 is not far behind for a fraction of the price. On PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Enhanced PC, an HSW Hakuchou Drag laps faster than all of them, which is the next section.

Fastest HSW motorcycle: Hakuchou Drag

The Shitzu Hakuchou Drag is the only motorcycle that can take Hao's Special Works upgrades, so it is also the fastest HSW motorcycle by default. The conversion costs GTA$ 1,450,000 (GTA$ 2,426,000 including the GTA$ 976,000 bike) at Hao's Special Works in the LS Car Meet, and it is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Enhanced PC only.

With HSW, the Hakuchou Drag reaches 157.5 mph, just ahead of the Police Bike but still short of the Reever. Its 0:52.736 lap is the best of any non-weaponized bike, which makes it the pick for racing if your platform supports it.

On PS4, Xbox One and Legacy PC, there is no HSW, so the standard numbers in the ranking table are the ceiling. On those platforms the Reever is still the fastest bike, and the Powersurge still has the best lap of any non-weaponized bike.

Best cheap fast motorcycles

You do not need millions for a quick bike. The Pegassi Bati 801 does 135 mph for GTA$ 15,000 at Southern San Andreas Super Autos, and its 0:58.625 lap beats every bike above it in the ranking table, the Reever included. The Bati 801RR tests identically at the same price, so pick whichever look you prefer.

• Nagasaki BF400: 135.75 mph, GTA$ 95,000.

• Shitzu Hakuchou: 134 mph, GTA$ 82,000.

• Dinka Akuma: 121.25 mph with a 0:58.892 lap, for just GTA$ 9,000.

Weaponized motorcycles

Three weaponized bikes are fast enough to come up in any speed conversation, but they are a different kind of vehicle, so they are listed here rather than ranked with the regular bikes.

The original Oppressor's 0:51.953 is the best lap of any bike, weaponized or not. The Oppressor Mk II also flies.

• Highest top speed: the Western Reever, as long as you are happy to hold a wheelie.

• Dirt bike: the Manchez Scout, the fastest one and cheap.

• Tight budget: the Bati 801 at GTA$ 15,000.
