PC, PlayStation and Dreamcast differences
Each platform has its own list. Some words are shared, such as the $500,000 code, but many differ, so use the table for the version you play. On PC you enter GOURANGA as your player name first to turn on cheat mode. PlayStation and Dreamcast need no extra step.
Some PC codes may work only on the US (North American) release and others only on the European release. Some PC cheats list more than one code: if one does nothing, try another.
How do you enter cheats in GTA 2?
You type each code as your player name. On PC, enter GOURANGA first to turn on cheat mode, then enter one code at a time as your player name before you start a level. On PlayStation and Dreamcast, enter the code as your player name with no extra step.
What is the GOURANGA cheat in GTA 2?
GOURANGA turns on cheat mode on PC. Enter it as your player name before the other PC codes. PlayStation and Dreamcast do not need it.
Is there a money cheat in GTA 2?
Yes, the tables list money codes on all three platforms. The PC table lists $200,000, $500,000 and $9,999,999. The PlayStation table lists $500,000 and unlimited money. The Dreamcast table lists $500,000 and $10 million. The PC table also lists a code for 10 million points.
Why does a GTA 2 PC cheat not work?
First check that you entered GOURANGA as your player name to turn on cheat mode, and that you entered one code at a time before starting a level. Some PC codes may work only on the US release and others only on the European release, so where the table lists more than one code for a cheat, try another.
Are there cheats for GTA 2 on Game Boy Color?
No name-entry or button cheat codes are listed for the Game Boy Color version, so this page lists none for it.
